Be sure to include a section on order execution, ECN rebates, and offering out into momentum for your scalper students. Mastery of order execution becomes more important the shorter one's timeframe becomes.

Great Post. Overtrading is a sure recipe for disaster. When your on a role the best way to maintain focus on your end trading results is to stay in the present moment. Time is an illusion and what happened yesterday is only an illusion of the past that exists in your mind. Placing todays trades has no correlation to making or losing $XXXX yesterday. Day trading can be fast, the key is to not allow what happened even 5 minutes ago bother you. Stay focued, keep yourself in the present moment and you will surely reap the rewards from your systems edge while still being cool and confident.

You have really provided wonderful tips on stock trading with the help of "news". I am also a regular online stock trader and heavily depends upon "trigger news" which might impact significantly on specific stocks either negatively or positively to make a successful trade.
